KRI: Mineralization Continues to be Expanded at Road Cut Zone
What you need to know:
• Kobo reported drill results from 12 additional holes completed in the Road Cut Zone at its 100%-owned Kossou Gold Project in Côte d’Ivoire.
• The drilling continues to expand gold mineralization across the Road Cut Zone with most holes intersecting strong grades and mineralization remains open at depth.
• KRI has completed 10,700m of drilling in 2026 and continues to advance toward an inaugural Mineral Resource Estimate, planned for Q4/26.
This morning, Kobo Resources (KRI:TSXV) published diamond drill results from 12 additional holes at the Road Cut Zone at its 100%-owned Kossou Gold Project in Côte d’Ivoire. Today’s results show the Road Cut Zone is more than a single vein, with gold now tracked across three structures: 1) the Main Road Cut Shear, 2) Artisanal Shear, and 3) Contact Zone Fault, all of which remain open at depth. KRI has now completed ~47,850m across 240 holes at Kossou (over 10,700m of that in 2026), keeping the project on track for an inaugural MRE, which management has guided to Q4/26. We are maintaining our BUY rating and target price of $0.60/share on KRI.
The 12 holes (KDD0161 to KDD0172) were drilled over roughly 400m of strike between sections RCZ200 and RCZ600. Grades within the Main Road Cut Shear were the standout of the release, led by 21.10 g/t Au over 2.0m (KDD0167) and a thicker 4.16 g/t Au over 7.0m (KDD0168). The Artisanal Shear structure has now been tested 150m below surface, while the Contact Zone Fault returned 2.65 g/t Au over 8.0m, including a higher-grade intercept of 5.99 g/t Au over 3.3m (KDD0170). With the Road Cut program advancing, KRI has also shifted the drill bit to the Kadie Zone, setting up a further stream of assays as results are returned.
Highlights from the Road Cut Zone:
• KDD0167:
o 1.34 g/t Au over 8.0m from 246.0m
o 21.10 g/t Au over 2.0m from 321.0m (Main Road Cut Shear)
• KDD0168:
o 2.71 g/t Au over 4.0m from 150.0m
o 4.16 g/t Au over 7.0m from 193.0m (Main Road Cut Shear)
o 0.64 g/t Au over 18.0m from 336.0m (Artisanal Shear)
• KDD0170:
o 0.64 g/t Au over 15.0m from 81.0m, including 0.81 g/t Au over 9.0m
o 2.65 g/t Au over 8.0m from 355.0m, including 5.99 g/t Au over 3.3m (CZ Fault)
• KDD0166:
o 4.30 g/t Au over 4.0m from 30.0m
o 0.81 g/t Au over 12.0m from 121.0m, including 1.95 g/t Au over 3.0m (CZ Fault)
• KDD0164:
o 1.89 g/t Au over 3.0m from 117.0m (Main Road Cut Shear)
o 2.35 g/t Au over 4.0m from 287.0m, including 7.14 g/t Au over 1.0m
