Eco Buildings Group PLC (AIM:ECOB, FRA:9ZL0) CEO Dr Etrur Albani joined Proactive to explain how the company is using advanced manufacturing and AI to transform housebuilding, positioning itself as a housing technology business rather than a traditional contractor.
Albani outlined how the company's GFRG building system combines factory-based manufacturing with bespoke architectural design, with AI integrated into its next-generation production process to improve quality control, predictive maintenance and product traceability. Each production line can deliver up to six homes a day, with rapid on-site assembly and strong building performance across fire resistance, earthquake resilience, thermal efficiency and sound insulation.
The flagship Rolling Hills development in Albania showcases the technology, with additional production lines planned to scale output. Looking further ahead, Albani outlined ambitions to establish up to 100 licensed factories worldwide, with the UK identified as a key target market, as Eco Buildings works to address the global housing shortage through industrialised construction.
