Rift Helium is an AIM-listed helium exploration company with assets in Tanzania’s onshore Rukwa basin. Previous drilling by peers has proven up a working helium system in the basin, and Rift has used existing data to identify new exploration leads, targeting helium in free gas in order to expedite development. The company is planning new 3D seismic in 2026 to then support exploration drilling from early 2027. Rift raised £8.1m in its recent AIM IPO to fund this work programme.
